Description:
Comet C/2021 P4 (ATLAS) imaged on May 27, 2022 during the afternoon astronomical twilight at 20° above the horizon, at a distance of 2 AU from Earth and approaching, shows in the image a brightness at magnitude 12.5 with a coma just 1' in angular size and a broad fan-shaped curved dust tail that extends 6.5' in length.
