Details:
In Maryland at a member star party for Howard Astronomical League and around 2am we spotted a large white object to the west heading East. The object got bigger and we soon realized it had to be a rocket. One member (Wayne) did some quick research and found it most likely to be the SpaceX Globalstar FM15 that was launched around 12:30am and was already in orbit to deliver satellites. We believe what we were seeing was possibly gas and particle debris from the rocket being illuminated by the Sun which was just below the horizon and at an angle where it could light it up. I quickly had to take my camera off my telescope and get my camera tripod which then broke on me. I then had to grab and put together my iOptron SkyGuider that I happened to bring with me and by the time I was ready all I got was the end as it faded out to the east, The images are not fully in focus and not the best as they were quickly taken.
