Details:
The year 2022 had eclipses as its central phenomenon in its first part.
On April 30, 2022 we had a partial solar eclipse (image 1 and 2) observable for the inhabitants of Argentina and Chile. It was not a total eclipse in any geographical point, but a partial one.
Nights after sunset on April 30, during midnight on May 16, 2022, the inhabitants of the American continent will be able to see a total lunar eclipse (image 3 and 4). For the inhabitants of the American continent it will be the last in a long time. The fully observable lunar eclipse will be next Friday, March 14, 2025 in the constellation of the Lion.
Equipment: Telescope 80mm F5 and mount EQ, Nikon D5100.
