On April 25th I looked towards the horizon in the direction of the archipelago and I also saw a spell: a Fata Morgana mirage. The island of Gozo showed its 3 hills (which do not exceed 200 m in height), transformed into spiers which then descended to go up even higher, becoming first columns and then castles. Just as the Fata Morgana deceived sailors by showing coasts with sumptuous dwellings.
This represents the first photographic documentation of the Fata Morgana mirage on the Maltese Islands, especially Gozo, also known as the Island of Calypso.
And I was surrounded by the magic of the fairy Morgana meeting the nymph Calypso ...
