Object/Date: C/2019 L3 (ATLAS) @ 2022 May 1, 03:30 UT Description: Comet C/2019 L3 (ATLAS) imaged on May 1, 2022, at a distance of 4 AU from Earth and going away with a measured brightness in magnitude 10. Its white dusty coma has an angular size of 5' with gradual condensation. Its broad dust tail is barely visible to the northeast over this field at the edge of the Milky Way in the constellation Gemini.
