Details:
When the moon had moved halfway into the umbra, I could easily see a bit of detail in the darker half of the lunar surface. I stacked the two images at left, taken at different times. The result is a fairly accurate representation of what this eclipse looked like visually through binoculars. Equipment: 80mm achromat, 2 power barlow, Canon 6D, tripod on equatorial table.
