Details:
while mostly cloudy here in Rome (Italy), this morning, at dawn, I could capture a few images of the stunning Venus-Jupiter conjunction. I attach one below. Thin clouds made possible to see a wonderful coloured corona around Venus, due to diffraction of its light by individual small water droplets. Europa, Ganymede and Callisto satellites are visible around Jupiter. At the imaging time, the two planets were about 21 arc-minutes apart, two-thirds of the angular size of the lunar disk.
