Details:
A beautiful sequence as the Sun went from 1% covered to 27% in 1 hour and 5 minutes as seen from inside the Santiago, Chile international airport complex. Nobody else knew the eclipse was happening and I had a large platform all to myself with super clear desert skies; the eclipse was visible until it encountered a mountain about 2.5 degrees above the northwest horizon. This was my 79th solar eclipse.
