Details:
I had planned to go out and do some DSO observing tonight but the forecast changed to clouds moving in by 10:00 o'clock. Then I remembered about Mercury and M45 so I grabbed my camera, tripod, and binoculars and drove up to my west facing meadows. This is what I saw. The red light is a hazard light on a 400 foot wind turbine
