Details:
I had planned to go up to Donner Pass Summit on both Tuesday and Wednesday morning to try to catch the planetary alignment but clouds were a problem on Tuesday. On Wednesday I was afraid clouds would block the view to the east but they mostly dispersed as Venus rose.
