Details:
The umbra of AR2995 was stretched and sharpened to show these very short-lived light phenomena. The gif consists of 54 images, each image was created from a 5s avi. So the total duration is only 4.5 min. I would really like to know what is happening there. Are these primary acoustic waves and the dark slower waves in the penumbra are the secondary acoustic waves?
