The active regions AR12993 and 12994 rotated onto the solar disk yesterday and produced an X-class flare earlier today. All images were taken with a ZWO ASI174MM (monochrome CMOS) camera: 1) White light image: using an Astro-Tech AT130EDT f/7 refractor with Baader Planetarium AstroSolar filter 2) Hydrogen-alpha image: using a Lunt LS80THa DSII f/7 3) Calcium K-line image: William Optics Zenithstar 70ED f/6 with a Lunt Calcium K module Last image: full solar disk in Calcium-K frequency
