As of this date SN 2022ffv in NGC 1381 is the brightest visible supernova (type 1a mag 13.3). NGC 1381 is in the Fornax cluster that makes for a nice scene. This photo was captured with iTelescope T31 in Australia. At present the window to photograph this supernova is just after onset of full darkness and only for a short time. This is 20 min of stacked 2 min photos.
