Details:
At about the center of the Virgo Cluster lies the "Markarian's Chain", a series of galaxies in a smooth curve. Up to 2,000 galaxies are estimated to exist in this region. If the catalog data are correct, the faint galaxy PGC 40577 (marked in red) is 6 billion light-years away! So it was shining at a time when our solar system did not exist yet.
