The second type of animation shows the evolution of the granulation over 9 minutes thanks to 15 images taken at 30 second intervals, from 09:59 UT to 10:08 UT.
The image covering the region concerned was taken at 10:04 UT.
Equipment: Newton SkyWatcher 254/1200, ASi178M camera, APM X2.7 barlow, Astrosolar filter (D3.8) and Edmund Optics filter at 430 nm.
All images and animations are shown at their normal size.
