Like yesterday, today's sunset sky was vividly coloured, courtesy of returning volcanic aerosols.
Interestingly, today's predawn sky lacked the same bright twilight arch and vivid colours as these evening skies. I would be interested to know from observers elsewhere in the southern hemisphere if they have noticed the same disparity between dawn and dusk colours.
I have posted several photos taken in quick succession to show how rapidly the colours change. The photos continue in my next post.
