Details:
On Sunday 20th (the March Equinox) Venus reached greatest elongation (was farthest from the Sun) and was visible above a bright volcanic aerosol twilight arch about half-an-hour before the Sun appeared above the local horizon. The arch was the first to appear before sunrise in Mutare for almost three weeks and indicates a renewal of volcanic stratospheric aerosols from the east. Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset mode.
