Details:
On Monday evening a remnant of stratospheric aerosols derived from the Hunga-Tonga volcanic eruption and distant storm clouds beyond the western horizon combined to produce a spectacular display of crepuscular rays radiating above a post-sunset twilight arch. The display, which appeared half-an-hour after sunset, developed in less than five minutes and then rapidly receded towards the horizon as darkness approached. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset mode.
