Details:
The sun has caused fascination and wonder since the appearance of humanity, most ancient cultures worshiped it as a god. Today, science has taken away some of its "magic" and given us a better understanding of our star, but without a doubt, the sun is still an essential part of our lives. For all of us who are in love with astronomy and who had the opportunity to see it through a telescope, it is impossible to remain indifferent to such magnificence. The sun is my favorite object to observe and photograph, every day, I try to improve my ability to capture its beauty and details. This image is a portrait of our star captured on March 2, showing several sunspots and a curious triangular-shaped prominence in the lower left. To take this picture, I used a Coronado Solarmax II 90mm aperture solar telescope and a ZWO 183MM camera.
