This evening the people visiting Thoddoo Island, Maldives (and for sure not just that island) were experienced truly colorful dusk. As the sun sets quickly by the equator, even the colors in bright crepuscular rays after were intense just for a minutes. Since no ordinary dust now appears in the atmosphere over the Maldives, I think this might be caused by the ash of the Tonga volcano (as its plume reached the mesosphere). During the dusk, I made some shots of the people, including two ladies by typical Maldivian swing in the lagoon while the dusk progressed. What a unique selfie they took :) Canon R, Samyang 12 mm.
