Details:
So I travelled from the Arctic to the Equator and ended in the Masai Mara for a wildlife trip. When we set up for our morning drive, I saw the new moon and one of the most incredible earthshine, with Venus shining very bright above. The goal was to find some wildlife to silhouette on a ridge before sunrise, ideally something big like an elephant or giraffe. Unfortunately, all we found was a few wildebeest but time was running out so I made us stop to take a few pictures. We finally found a giraffe after sunrise... Too bad there weren't massive sunspots to show but what a sunrise!
