Sunspots AR2954 and AR2955 caused great expectations due to the large explosions they produced when they were on the far side of the sun. But when they finally came into view, they revealed to be simple and stable sunspots. Today after noon, with a very hot and humid weather, fighting with storm clouds, in the moments in which the sun could be seen, I managed to take this photograph in which you can see these two sunspots right in the middle of its journey, like two eyes with the size of our planet watching us and reminding us that the sun can always be a source of surprises. To take this picture I used a Coronado Solarmax II single stack 90mm aperture telescope and a ZWO 183MM camera.
