Details:
It began in the early evening of February 12th when twin then triple brilliant green arcs traversed the still blue sky. Like green searchlights they lit up the heavens. After a lull to recharge around 8.30 a major substorm exploded overhead with great purple and pink gaudy blobs. Another lull and then after midnight the new day was welcomed by spectacular streamers and multi hued rays that danced the night away
