Details:
The accompanying pictures show Venus before sunrise shining bright in a classic multi-coloured volcanic aerosol generated twilight arch until being overwhelmed by approaching daylight. There is little doubt that volcanic aerosols and other contaminants from the Hunga Tonga eruption on the 15th must still be present in the stratosphere to the East of Mutare to provide such a spectacular backdrop to Venus before sunrise.
