Details:
I never thought I'd be able to see noctilucent clouds from the Atacama Desert, at a latitude of -26 °, but thanks to the recent eruption of Hunga Tonga, the impossible has become possible.
Starting 15 minutes after the sunset, the perfect blue sky began to ripple from the horizon to about 40 degrees in height. At first I didn't believe it. About half an hour after sunset the clouds reached their maximum contrast. The portions closest to the horizon remained visible even at the beginning of the astronomical night, in the company of the zodiacal light and turning into a dark red color. An indescribable emotion!
