Details:
The winter time provides, many times, atmospheric optical phenomena. The weather forecast announces that an atmospheric front will pass over Romania that will bring snow coming days. Usually, such an atmospheric front is preceded by high-altitude clouds, cirrus or cirrostratus, which contain ice crystals that generate such optical phenomena. This is what happened last night when a perfectly contoured 22 ° halo appeared around the Moon almost full. Being isolated at home for a few days due to the coronavirus (fortunately with extremely mild symptoms), I managed to get this frame in front of the apartment window with an urban Moon halo.
