Details:
Copernicus is said to have never seen the elusive Mercury. Why not try to outdo the scientist in the enterprise? There are a few days left before it can disappear from the evening skies. You can still try the feat immediately after sunset, the planet is located a little lower than Saturn in magnitude around the first. I took this photo from Catania today 16/01/2022 with a Canon 760d and a 70-300mm lens set at 105mm.
