Details:
At 5.30 am on Monday scattered reflections of rising sunlight appeared above some hills in Cecil Kop Nature Reserve which rapidly intensified to produce a spectacular fiery plume which lasted for just two minutes before fading behind encroaching cloud. The Sun was not directly visible for another hour until it emerged above the early morning cloud close to the horizon.
