Details:
Venus about 48h before Inferior Conjunction. Separation just under 5.5°
Recorded during the only clear weather window we got close to conjunction, from a high-altitude location. Venus itself was at 61° of elevation. This turned out to be a favourable combination.
Hard stretching of IR data reveals what one might interpret as a full circle. Another member's observation from Teide Observatory suggests it is the real deal.
GSO CC8, ASI 174, 742nm longpass, 350nm bandpass and luminance filters
