Details:
These observations were made from Cochranville Pennsylvania at 01:00pm EST, less than 6 hours from the official point where Venus transitions from an evening planet to a morning planet or inferior conjunction. I was surprised how easy it was to locate Venus by hand only a mere 5 degrees away from the solar disk. With transparent blue skies, I used the house to block the Sun's blinding rays. These images were recorded using an Orion Shorttube 80 and an iPhone 10XR. Venus was only 0.3% illuminated at the time of these images.
