On this Christmas morning, I photographed the two largest groups of sunspots that are visible in the sun. Despite the great heat of our southern summer and the great turbulence, I was able to obtain this image where on the left you can see AR2916, which is located in the southern hemisphere of the sun and on the right we see AR2918, located in the hemisphere North. To take these photographs I used a Maksutov 180 telescope with a Baader OD3.8 sheet, a Solar Continuum filter and a QHY 163M camera.
