Within fifteen minutes of 6.25 pm on Christmas Eve the late afternoon Sun appeared through a tiny gap in continuous cloud cover just above the horizon to the southwest of Mutare and flooded my viewpoint on Murambi Heights with full sunshine for two minutes before setting. This after the sunset point had been obscured by rainy season clouds for more than two weeks. This was so extraordinary that it appeared to be miraculous! Camera: Hand-held Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset mode.
