Details:
Comet C/2021 A1 Leonard was still visible thru the partly cloudy skies on the evening of 2021/12/22 (2021/12/23-0144to46 UTC). Much easier to see in the SW sky was a bright pass of the newly launched Starlink G4-4 Group of 52 satellites that were passing near Saturn and thru the constellation of Capricornus (the Sea Goat). Bright Jupiter (see chart) was above Saturn and brighter Venus in the clouds just above the horizon. Several images were taken with Sony A7s3, 50mm f/1.8 lens, iso 12800, 2.0 exposure on tripod. About 20 minutes earlier, I was able to capture a stack of 20 images of Comet Leonard when it was above the cloud bank. The SkyXPro chart shows the larger fov with Capricornus and the Starlink Group labels.
