Details:
Tonight the sky became surprisingly clear but it was quite hazy. I set up on the frozen Teno river to broadcast a live Aurora stream when I noticed that a lot was happening around the moon.
22° halo, parhelic circle, moondogs, upper tangent arc, and would the "rainbow" kind of stain at the very top be a circumzenithal arc?
The Aurora was also gently circling around the moon at this time.
A little while later, the sky suddenly became all green in a very unusual fashion: it's almost like it just "lit up" in green with no build up, no distinctive shapes, almost no movement. It was just green (and a bit pink).
What an unusual night up here in Utsjoki in Finnish Lapland!
