Comet Leonard is actively changing every day. As the comet appeared in the dusk sky on December 16 it manifested an outburst to mag 3, it then faded to mag 5 by December 18th and then it brightened again to mag 3 on December 19th. The current brighter Comet Leonard is complicated by forward scattering as well as an outburst. See CometOBServation database for discussion (https://cobs.si/show?id=679). These comet photos were captured using a Vixen VSD 100 astrograph and a Nikon Z7II camera. each image is a stack of 35 4 sec images.
