Details:
After a few rainy days, the sky was supposed to be clear around Troms area last night. Clear sky is always my priority on the Aurora tours, as in that case if something appears, it will be visible. Kp index was supposed to be rather low - maximum kp3. Little did we know, after a few hours it would be at 5 and bz dropping down to almost -20, which is very unusual. Pink flares, green bands, purple dancing...anything you would expect, we got tonight. Seems like it won´t be over, as the sun's active side is turning towards us and the whole christmas week seems to be coming full of shiny Lights in a sky.
