On Saturday 11th December the waxing and by then First Quarter Moon had moved beyond Jupiter and was photographed almost directly overhead above a beautiful formation of post-sunset illuminated cirrostratus cloud which changed colour as the reflected sunlight faded between 6.14 and 6.29 pm. Camera: Hand-held Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset mode.
