Details:
These images of Comet Leonard were taken the morning it passed M3. The lens was a Canon 200-400 zoom set to 280mm at f/5. The camera was Canon 1DXiii. (Images cropped to half frame.) The final images are a stack of twelve 10s exposures made at ISO 10000. The light pollution in my area almost covered the comet. It was hardly visible in binoculars. My website has a time lapse video covering 43 minutes of comet movement. It shows the comet passing a faint star in the background.
