Photo #1: wide view taken Dec 3, 5am MST (Dec 3, noon UT).
Photo #2: view cropped to comet Dec 5, 5:20 am MST (Dec 3, 12:20 UT).

On Dec 5 using binoculars I would put the comet's brightness at around mag 7 so still not visible naked-eye, and no tail was seen in binoculars.
