Description:
Comet C/2021 A1 (Leonard) imaged on December 3, 2021, just as it passed near the globular cluster M 3 in Canes Venatici. With a brightness at magnitude 7 the comet has a 12' angular size coma and a tail with more than 1 degree in length.
