Details:
Although the forecast was for clear sky there was high thin cloud reflecting town lighting. At around 03:00 UTC I could not find Comet Leonard using 10x40 binoculars so tried some wide field images at 80 mm effective focal length. There was no sign of the comet on the camera screen. Viewing the images on the PC screen this morning I can see there is a faint view of the comet. 02/12/2021 Comet Leonard (C2021/A1) Canon 1100D, Canon F1.8 50mm (effective focal length 80mm) ISO3200, F1.8, 6 sec Post processed in Affinity Photo
