After going through the few hundred photos I captured from the recent Aurora display on the 3rd into the 4th of November, I spotted something odd in a few of the photos which I never captured before - the colour Orange mixed within the more common Greens, Reds and Purples. I have captured so many Aurora displays over the years with even the appearance of the colour blue but for me this capturing this orange is a first. I tried to different white balances and all stay with this orange. I didn't see this colour visually but the camera was able to catch it. Not sure of the science behind this colour but it clearly there.
