Details:
I noticed on spaceweather.com that the front page was updated since i last looked and that the impact had hit around 8pm on the 3rd of November ,so i jumped into the car and headed to the outskirts of Glasgow just 10 mins away from my home.I missed the initial impact of the CME with all the best corona action ,but i waited until the magnetic field Bz opened enough to form a reasonable gap once again to around -10 Bz in the early hours of the 4th ,which gave me a short window just enough to show me a small display ,before it closed again with a tight Bz nT North which fluctuated on and off for the remainder of the night ,resulting in the gaps being way to small and way less than i would need to view any activity with me being so far south ,to show me the full beauty of the G3 storm that reached a massive kp7 the biggest storm this year .
