Hi Tony I was shooting a time lapse of the Milky Way testing out a new 50mm lens when a bright mag +0 northern Taurid meteor zipped across the FOV. The meteor was orange and gold with a 20 degree long tail and remained visible for 5 secs. When I checked my camera I was delighted I had captured it!, although it crossed the entire 50mm field, the following images showed a smoke train not far from the North Ameria Nebula twisting in shape in the upper atmospheric winds. Canon 5D Mark IV, 50mm F/1.8 stopped to F/2.8, ISO5000 8 secs.
