Details:
I had been waiting for this the night before, ready to go at any moment, but it took 66 hours for the shock wave to reach the earth, so it was natural that we struck out. However, we were very lucky that it appeared on a clear night at the new moon. Please note that you need to use an astronomically modified camera to capture this much red colour.
