Sunrise Aurora was a treat nice treat on Halloween October 31, 2021. I had to wait 8 hours and half for the G3 storm, which came late and weak comparing with the initial prediction. Almost ready to pack up I watch one more time the data and I realized that the parameters of the solar wind started climbing and where taking the shape of the CME impact. Watch the time and made some calculation to figure out if I stand any chances to see the impact before the sunrise. Everything was tight within an hour or so and Oh, boy how right I was. We were able to witness the impact of the solar wind which came from the X flare on October 28 and couldn’t ask for more of a conjunction Aurora-Sunrise. She was dancing wild all over the sky developing all shapes and colors. Sometimes is paying off to stay a bit later, lesson learned long time ago.
