Details:
Today I drove nearly 600km to watch a less than one second event. The transit of the Chinese space station Tiangong across the solar disk here in New Zealand.! While I have photographed dozens of solar transits by the International Space Station, this was the first time I had spotted the tiny Chinese version cross the face of our nearest star. Today Tiangong was less than 8 arc seconds in diameter.
