Details:
Even though there was no aurora forecast over this weekend it actually made an appearance Saturday night. Space Weather Live app gave the alert at Kp4. Headed out not far from where I live in north western Tasmania. Luckily the clear night skies also revealed very calm waters for foreground reflections. The aurora was visible to the eye as a subtle glow but the Canon 6D camera reveals the colours. 50mm Sigma prime and Tamron 15/30mm@15 were used at around 10/15 second exposures
