Details:
It took a while due to bad weather, but the Aurora season is finally on up here in Utsjoki in northern Finnish Lapland. And we had a nice surprise today with a rocket launch just at the beginning of the show at 11:07 PM (local time) - if only I could find the information about who launched it and what kind of rocket it was... I was filming at the time as well so stay tuned for that footage. Later when the sky became darker, bright Auroras appeared, but were sadly partly covered by clouds. A fantastic start of the season nonetheless!
