Details:
We are visiting friends in the South of Iceland. In the evening we checked the space weather.com and recognised that Bz has dropped to the south. Unfortunately was the sky completly couvered in our Region, so that we had to drive a while to the east. After a 70km drive we reached Vik at about 23:00h the sky opened and we saw the Aurora. It was more than we did expect. Fantastic display, the whole sky was couvered in green an sometimes red, very fast moving....what a night! Worth every km we drove. One picture shows the Aurora over Vik
